Today is Nov 18th,  I just now saw the notice of Marcia passing.  Over the years I have thought of her so often.  In my mind she was  on of the bravest  women I knew and a true Christian.  We spent years of fun together.  My heart goes out to the family and I'm  so sorry I missed her memorial.  May God bless you all.  She will remain my heart forever.  Love to you all.


Aunty may you Rest In Peace. You were always my favorite Aunty, you were like my mother you were always there when I needed you. We had some really great times together you always made me laugh and put a smile on my face my kids loved you as there own grandma you will forever be missed I love you Aunty I wish I could have been there please know in your heart I’m getting better for my children, that’s something you would have wanted for me till we meet again love always your niece Crystal. May the angels protect you in the heaven above. 

One of my favorite memories with grandma is when her, Destiny and I would go to church. We would all wake up and get ready and grab some snacks before the service. After grandma always took us to eat and we would sing together in the car. <3

I wish she got to meet my babyboy. He would’ve loved her. 

I remember the night I started calling her grandma; Candiss, her & I were sitting outside watching the stars. Even though she was my Aunty I always looked to her as my grandma. She made a big impact on my life & helped me through so many hard times. I remember always trying to go stay the night at her house with candiss and I never could because I would always get home sick. She loved when Candiss & I would put on talent shows for her and sing Katy Perry & she would make us cucumbers with vinegar after. There’s so many times I wish I could go back to, All the memories I have with her. Precious Grandma Marcia

My grandma loved to look at the clouds (find objects, animals, faces, etc.) She would call us and tell us to go out and look at the beautiful moon and stars. She loved Donald Trump and loved dogs. She was grateful and sweet about every gift anyone would give her (even kept the bows and paper). She also loved to go on rides in the mountains and would pick up pretty leaves along the way. 

Ruby and Aaliyah enjoy making food for Marcia. She was a very great lady to be around. We will miss her a lot.And I enjoyed talking to o her all the time.             Love, Ruby and Aaliyah 

I remember getting excited around Christmas every year because i knew mom would be baking all kinds of cookies and pies and i would get to sample all the treats

You never realize how much time you spent with someone until it’s all you think about. I’ve made so many memories with grandma big and small and each one I cherish. I remember reading books with her before bed and practicing driving for my license. She helped me become the person I am today and was cheering behind me every step of the way. She was always kind and willing to help others, especially for her family I know there’s nothing she wouldn’t do. I wish I was able to show her all the happiness and love she brought to others even if it was just a quick call to ask how you are. 

I will start with “Ba” because that’s really where everything started for my grandma and I. Thinking back on our moments together I remember some of my most fond memories in life this far. From reading books before I could read, to baking, decorating, shopping, long drives around town, and our countless phone calls. I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with my grandma. She was the most selfless person who always made sure her family was taken care of. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel loved. I have always looked up to her and hope that I am able to make the people around me feel as welcome and as loved as she always did. I truly would not be who I am without her, she was such an important person in my life. I would like to thank her for being the best grandma in the whole world. There won’t be a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could talk to her one more time. Heaven gained the most beautiful angel this week. I love you more, grandma. 

My mom was the most amazing, humble, kind, loving, selfless woman ever. She was always there for me and supported me through many chapters of my life. She loved the seasons especially Fall. She loved to cook and celebrate the holidays with her family. She was my best friend. I will spend the rest of my life trying to be as Special as she was. 

The best mom ever. Always supported me and showed up to everything i was a part of.  Was willing to lend an ear anytime i had a bad day or was going through tough times in life.  I will be forever greatful for having her in my life and having the moments we shared. I will cherish the memories for the rest of my days.
