Maria Deluvina Trujillo

Maria D. Trujillo, 91 of Avondale (resided in Raton NM) departed this life January 22, 2014, at MCMC hospital. Born January 20th, 1923, in San Acacio CO. A sweet loving housewife who loved to spend time with her loved ones and watch her Broncos play. Her hobbies included sewing thrapos, making blankets, and doing her word search puzzles and sand of course playing bingo. Preceded in death by husband, Valdamor Trujillo; parents, Miguel and Rosita (Martinez) Velasquez; three sons, Jerry, Albert and Emilio Trujillo; six brothers and three sisters. Survived by children, Evelyn (Leonard) Smith, Alamosa, Ethel Trujillo; Bernard (Becky) Trujillo, Robert (Shiela) Trujillo, David Trujillo, Gene (Cindy) Trujillo, Billy (Evelyn) Trujillo, Leroy Trujillo, all of Pueblo; Becky (Pete) Sintas of Raton, NM; and a sister, Mary Medina of Colorado Springs; 31 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing will be Wednesday January 29th, 2014, from 5-7 pm at Adrian Comer Funeral Home. Rosary will be January 30th at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Avondale, with the mass in celebration of her life following. She will then be laid to rest at Imperial Cemetery in Pueblo.
