Martha Joan Elsie Martinez, 86, passed away September 19, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert Joseph Martinez and daughter in law Sophie. She is survived by her children Patricia (Ronald) Garcia, Albert Martinez Jr., Michael Martinez, Gregory (Salem) Martinez, and James (Jayne) Martinez; 9 grandchildren Nicole, Isaac, Carlos, Rico, Travis, Joshua, Angelina, Jordan, Jaylyn; 17 great-grandchildren Isabella, Alexis, Carlos Jr., Mia, Isaiah, Sergio, Michael, Rico Jr., Daniel, Nehemiah, Fabian, Noah, Chloe, Claire, Leela, Ezekial. Martha loved spending time with her family, her church, volunteering to teach youth religious classes. She loved animals, had numerous cats Sylvester, Bobbi, Sharkie and her dog Pierre. Her favorite foods are chicken tacos on white, red chili, Almond Joy, cherry chocolates, caramel corn, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell Nachos Bell Grande and Cinnamon twists, Orange Julius, and vanilla milkshakes. She enjoyed lottery scratch tickets, going to the dog track, Cripple Creek, shopping Avon and QVC, dancing, listening to Spanish Music, and watching movies. She enjoyed watching the Broncos, Telenovelas, and Entertainment Tonight. Rosary will be Thursday 7:00 pm with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am both at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, with Interment at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
