Marty Andrew Griego

Marty Andrew Griego, 40, of Pueblo, CO sadly passed away on March 14, 2024. Marty was born in Wheatridge, CO on May 27, 1983, to Donaciano Griego Jr and Debbie Griego (Latka). After attending high school, Marty worked as a lifelong Glazier/Independent Contractor and was successful in completing projects in different states. Marty was a Christian who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and even through challenging times, his faith did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God. He was intelligent, creative, hardworking, kindhearted, and loving. Marty would protect anyone he cared about. He never met a stranger and would make a special effort to help someone in need. He genuinely loved his children, and it broke his heart to not be in their presence. Marty enjoyed reading, learning, movies, music, technology, socializing, family gatherings, and riding motorcycles. Marty had a wonderful sense of humor and he loved to laugh. There was never a dull moment with Marty in the room and he will always be with us in spirit.

He is survived by his children, Hydee Kennedy, Austin Giarratano, and Marty Andrew Griego II. Parents Debbie Griego (Latka) and Donaciano Griego Jr. Siblings Ryan (Amanda) Griego, Jamey (Stephanie) Griego, Patrick (Nicole) Griego, Breanne (Jose) Griego-Segura, and Bret (Shantelle) Griego. Grandmother Frances Griego. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Donaciano Griego, grandparents Neil and Marsha Latka, and Uncle Steve Latka.

Services for Marty will be on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm and will be at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery at 5450 Hwy 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005.

A funeral reception will follow at Holy Family Catholic Church at 2827 Lakeview Ave, Pueblo, CO 81005 from 3:00 – 5:00pm
