Mary Margaret Hughes

Mary Margaret Hughes, 66, of Pueblo passed away peacefully on July 29, 2018. Survived by her husband, William Robert Hughes; mother, Lorene Zgaynor-Prelesnik; son, William Joseph (Julie) Hughes; aunts and cousins. Preceded in death by Joe F. Zgaynor. Mary enjoyed taking care of others, and retired after 47 years of nursing. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband, Bill. Mary loved attending Zebu Cattle Shows with her son, William, and daughter-in-law, Julie. In lieu of flowers or food, the family asks that donations be made to the Bruce McCandless Colorado Veterans Community Living Center at Florence in memory of Mary. Viewing will be 4-6 p.m., Thursday; followed by the Rosary at 6 p.m.; Funeral Mass, will be 10 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2018, all services to be held at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
