Miranda (Kirkpatrick) Golden, born in St. Johns, Michigan on February 26, 1983, passed away after an unknown illness on July 18, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. Miranda attended Bath Community Schools until age 13, when she moved with her family to Pueblo. She was a high-school graduate, an attendee of Pueblo Community College, and held a home-health-care certificate. She was employed as an office assistant, worked in the food-services field, and as a home health caregiver. Her tireless and loving care of her mother and stepfather, Vern Goebel, was greatly appreciated and allowed Vern to remain at home. Among the things that Miranda enjoyed were visits and baking with her Grandma Marvin as well as trips to museums and other sites with her Grandma Jasman. She loved animals, especially her rabbit from her dad, her recent litter of kittens, and her dog, Peaches. She loved going to the Colorado State Fair, enjoyed baking, and having cookouts with her family. In 2004 Miranda gave birth to an adorable son, Branden, who survives her. Those also remaining to cherish her memory are her mother Mary (Jasman) Goebel; father David Kirkpatrick; sister Kristi Kirkpatrick; grandmothers Mary Marvin and Jackie Jasman; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends in Michigan and Colorado. Memorial Service for Miranda will be Saturday, July 28 at 4:00 p.m. at House of Prayer, 9974 E. Old M-78, Haslett, MI 48840 Phone (517) 339-6530.
