Joy Nanette Christenson went to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 2025, after an extended illness. Nanette was born on Oct. 31, 1938, in Pueblo, Colo. She was preceded in death by parents, Vernon and Mildred Cortner; husband, Larry Christenson; stepson, Scott Christenson; grandson, Duane Goehring; and brother, Stan Cortner. She is survived by her children, Bradley (Mary) Zerfas, Larry (Bonnie)
Zerfas; stepchildren, Kellie (Hal) Hott, Kim (Bob) Goehring, Matt
(Mary) Christenson, Kathie (Steven) Vergo; sisters, Donna Leinberger and Velda (Ron) King. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members. A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
