Odelia Gonzales, 78, went to be with the Lord Oct. 3, 2011. She was born on July 15, 1933, to the union of Daniel and Juanita Aranda in Amalia, N.M. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Manuel D. Gonzales; her parents; and son, Rick Torrez. Left to embrace her memory, are children, Joe Ray Torrez, Joann Torrez, Rudy (Dan Lopez) Torrez, Cathy (Mary) Torrez, Geri (Steve “TOOTER”) Sandoval and Betty Gonzales; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rae Aranda, Elsie (Rudy) Otero, Bernal (Alice) Aranda, Lillian (Leo) Quintana, MaryEllen (John) Garcia and Salvador Borrego; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today, at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, at Holy Rosary Church.
