Petra Gallegos of Pueblo, Colorado passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 3, 2025, at the age of 96 years. Petra was born July 17, 1928 in Pueblo, Colorado to parents Baldomero and Petra Arizaga. They both precede her in death along with her beloved husband of 63 years, Julian Gallegos Jr. Siblings Manuel Arizaga, Frank Ramirez(Anna), John Arizaga, Marie Scotillo and Marcelina(Frank) Retana.
Most of all, Petra enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.
Petra is survived by her daughter(s) Patricia (Glenn) Boyd, Angelina(Louis) Cruz.
Grandchildren Shamayne, Celene, Jeremiah Cruz, Serena(Pradeep) Diska,and David Barboza. Great grandchildren Poesy, Mila, Orion, Gia and Taiyo.
A celebration of life for Petra will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd., Pueblo, CO 81008. An interment to follow service will occur at Roselawn Cemetery, 1706 Roselawn Rd, Pueblo, Colorado 81006.
