Robert "Zane" Lujan-Stearns

Robert “Zane” Lujan-Stearns, 15, was born on December 22, 1997. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 26, 2013. Zane is preceded in death by his loving great-grandparents, Feliberto and Corina Lujan; and his uncle, Louis P. Salazar. He is survived by his loving father, Israel I. Lujan, and his mother, Jennifer Favor; and his grandmother, Judy Stearns, from Indiana. His dedicated caretakers and grandparents, Jesse and Kathy Lujan, will miss him tremendously, yet know that he is in the precious presence of the Lord. Zane is also survived by his wonderful great-grandparents, Fernando and Rafaela Salazar; his brothers, Kingston Lujan and Julian Favor; also survived by his uncle, Jesse (Krystal) Lujan of Albuquerque, NM; his uncles, Jerry (Jane) Lujan, Daniel Lujan, Anthony Salazar, Fred Dominic (Phyllis) Salazar; his aunts, Virginia Lujan, Dorothy Vanbuskirk, Leonor Lujan, Gloria (Sam Guerrero, Jr.) and Janel (Bobby) Brown. His cousins include Derek Lujan, Daphne (Steve) Miller, Jennifer (Anthony) Castro, Matthew (Dee) Vanbuskirk, Kristy Vanbuskirk, Sarah Lujan, Orion and Demitrius Miller, Darian, Logan and Marlo Castro, Caleb Vanbuskirk, Noah and Nathan Lujan, Miles Salazar, Sherell, Marissa, Brian Alvarez, Tad, Dominic and Dina Salazar and extended Family. Zane was an earth angel, and touched many lives and taught many lessons despite his multiple disabilities. His legacy of love, patience, compassion, humility and quiet lessons of forgiveness will always be cherished by his loving family. Special thanks to Children’s Memorial Hospital, especially the PICU Unit physicians, nurses, chaplains and staff members. We appreciate the unconditional love offered to Zane by Colorado BlueSky Enterprises, especially Tracy Apodaca, his long term therapists, Becky and Jason, and Dr. Lawrence Wang, his neurologist.
