I’m reading this at 10 pm on Sunday the 13th, looks like I won’t sleep tonite. I could start about Bob but l don’t know if I could finish.
Played golf together, drank beer, went to Cardinal games and always second-guessed their play, only we weren’t guessing. We were probably one of the few, if not the only people who tailgated cardinal baseball. Last I knew he was living in Eureka, Mo. and then I heard he had moved back to Carlsbad. We laughed at our mistakes and celebrated our good fortunes which were also mistakes wrapped in bright paper. Would have liked to say hello one last time and let him know how much I valued our time together. If Rob could find the time to call I would like to hear from him. Ask the funeral home for my email address and maybe we can take it from there. My condolences to his family and I really don’t know how to end this note. Tex.

First I've heard of Bobby's passing, so sad to hear.  We were good friends, played football and basketball together.  He was a great athlete, could play anything and was good at it.  I remember him as  quarterback of the Carlsbad Cavemen State Championship team (undefeated) of 1962.  He was great that year and made all state.      May he rest in peace. 

Bobby and I played baseball about 100 years ago for the White Sox in the Shorthorn League.  The story of playing Jax really struck home. After watching him play Jax at Sunset School, I tried it with my sisters and Mom, they beat me silly.  The quick hands and great reflexes made him The Shortstop for our team. Great memories.  My condolences to family, he was a friend with a strong impish streak. 

Bob was a good friend. We went to high school together in Carlsbad, NM. I moved to St louis in 2010 and he was living there at the time. We went to a few Rams games together and he was at Carol's and my wedding. His passing makes me sad and I will always miss him. 



Sunset Elementary School 1956, the girls played 'Jacks' on the side patio.  the boys played 5 hole marbles on the dirt lot out back.  Bobby joined the girls and ended up winning their championship.  Oh he was derailed by the boys for winning a girls game.  In true BMac fashion and trying to take the pressure off, he claimed to have won by cheating.  Now i played a round or two with the girls, and they were an eagle eyed bunch, they could see, smell and hear you touch a jack out of turn, and they banded together against us.  He couldn't have cheated, would never ever gotten by with it. :-)  RIP B Mac
