Sorry so late, I just found this. Roland was a very good man and friend.  I often think about him and wish he was still here. I know he is in a better place and no longer has any worries. One day I will meet him again and continue our friendship.

I just found out that Roland passed away last year. We worked together at the South Side Lowes for years. He is one of my best friends. When I got fired, I lost contact with him for a while and eventually found him. As life would have it, we both got too busy with work, family,etc and time slipped through our hands. I would try and call or text him from time to time until his responses stopped. I started to worry about him last year, but just figured he was busy. I went on Facebook to see what he was up too and maybe we could hang out. That's when I noticed a birthday post to Roland for him in heaven. My heart aches and I am sad today. I am having a hard time staying at work as my tears wont stay inside.One of my best friends and brother passed away.  I will never forget you. Ill see you when I get there.

I send my sincere condolences in the passing of Roland. I met him in 1984 when I was named Head Football Coach at Adams State. We was a sophomore and I was fortunate to serve as his head coach for three years. Roland as a senior defensive lineman in 1986 displayed great leadership for our young team that season. I remember Roland as a "Gentle Giant." He was a great teammate, friendly and kind off the field. However, when he put on that football uniform a metamorphosis took place. He was a solid defensive lineman in our "Blackshirt" Defense. On behalf of Adams State Football Alumni and coaches who were fortunate to get to know this fine man, please accept my sincere sympathy.

So sorry to hear of Roland's passing.  Roland was a really neat guy and great classmate at Central.   My thoughts and prayers are with your family and I am toasting Roland as he will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of playing football against Roland many years ago , and then a few years ago Roland came to work for me at Lowes . He was a great friend and will be missed by so many. My prayers to his family and friends. Rest In Peace RP.

Roland was my student in Spanish class. I remember him well. Intelligent, kind, friendly, and a warm smile. My heartfelt condolences to your family.

I had the pleasure of growing up with Roland and playing on the offensive and defensive line with him at Pueblo Central. For several Summers after high school, we worked out together on an almost daily basis as we both continued our football careers in college.  I have many fond memories of Roland and despite losing touch with him in recent years, have always considered  him a very good friend who you could always count on for a good laugh.  My deepest prayers are extended to his wife, children and the entire family.  May God Bless and Keep You Roland.

So sorry for your loss!  Roland & I lived together at A State and we spent a lot of time together including a trip to S. Padre Island for spring break.  He always made me laugh and we had a great time together!!  As Roland would always ask me... "What's your GIG?"
