Ruby Tokiko Fujita

Ruby Tokiko Fujita. Born April 18, 1919 in Hudson, Colorado. The fifth of seven children of Yaso and Saki Takaki, 99, passed away October 12, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband, Yoshinori Joe Fujita. Survived by her children, Paula (Tom), Gregory (Nancy) and Hideo (Stephanie); grandchildren, Chris (Annette), Andrew (Ophie) and Avree. Throughout her life, Ruby worked to build relationships and create a stable foundation for her family. To best build relationships, she believed in building bridges not walls. Her bridges extended out to family, friends and strangers. Her love and devotion for her family strengthened and expanded our lives. Her memory will live on within us. Donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice. Funeral Service, 10 a.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 at George McCarthy Historic Chapel, 400 Broadway in Pueblo.
