Ruby Stahl

Ruby Ruth Stahl, 88, long-time Boone resident, passed away Oct. 1, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband, John Stahl; infant son, John Stahl; brothers, Floyd, Robert, and Albert Rathbun, and sister, Alice Stiner. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Robert (Margie) Rathbun; Imogene (Jim) Rathbun; Ruth (Doug) Morris; John (Jane) Rathbun; Ronald (Elona) Rathbun; David (Carla) Rathbun; Barbara (Ron) Emmert; Douglas Rathbun; Beverly (Tom) Spindle; Virginia Schroeder; Richard Rathbun; Thomas (Susan) Rathbun; Joanne (Keith) Cossel; and Carolyn (Dave) Dario. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, and a large loving family. Ruby owned the Stahl Brothers Ranch in the Arkansas Valley for many years. Visitation from 4 – 7 pm Tues. at the funeral home. She was a member of the Valley Community Church in Colo. City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wed., followed by interment at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valley Community Church, or the Colo. Boys Ranch in La Junta, both through the funeral home.
