Sharon “Gwyn” Monroe (58), died September 13 surrounded by family after battling cancer. Gwyn was an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (OB/GYN) spending her life serving those most in need throughout the community. Survived by husband, Dr. Michael Coots; daughters, Victoria and Sofia Monroe; grandson, Hunter; mother, Lois Carpenter; sister, Gaylen Cramer. Preceded in death by her beloved father, Charles Carpenter. Memorial Service to celebrate her life held September 23 at 10:00 am at Imperial Funeral Home in Pueblo, CO.
