

William Robert Lopez, 71, affectionately known as Willie, born December 3, 1944 in Pueblo, Colorado passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 23, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Isabel; mother, Ruth Baca; children, Denise (Eppie) Duran, Vince Lopez, Adam (Eileen) Ogaz and Vanessa (Rick) Trontel; grandchildren, Lori, Jewl, Eppie Jr., Larisa, Sergio, Olivia and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Angelina, Haley and Major; siblings, Patsy, Leo, Lucille, Mark, Tina, Ruben and Sam. Also survived by numerous relatives, friends and loving pets. Preceded in death by his father, Aloysius Baca and grandson, Tobias “Toby” Keith Lopez. Willie served 3 years in the Army, 21 years in the Colorado National Guard Special Forces, and worked for the CF&I Steel Mill. He enjoyed traveling all over the world with the Military and his family. His love for the outdoors, family time, and the Denver Broncos will be cherished memories for all who knew Willie. Rosary Service 6 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 and Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 both held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
