Mr. Chapman was the son of the late Grady Henry and Hautie White Chapman. He was a retired salesman auto parts salesman.
Visitation will be Thursday October 14, 2010 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday October 15, 2010 at Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International of Giles or Coffee County, or the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
Survivors include his wife Louise Chapman, son Shane L. Barlar, granddaughters Erin Mankin and Shae Lawren Storey, grandson Josh Mankin, great grandson Camden Owen, estranged daughter and granddaughter, special friends Tracie and Jamie Cox, Dorval & Christine Minatra.
