He was born in Athens, AL, on June 5, 1964, preceded in death by his grandparents, William & Golia Tyler, his grandfather, Vestal Gowan, and his mother in law, Judy Kay Smith.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 16, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery.
Survivors include his father, Wendell Griffin of Pulaski, TN, his mother, Alice Gowan of Pulaski, TN, his wife, Danette Griffin of Pulaski, his step father, Bubba Gowan of Pulaski, TN, his daughter, Sara Winter and husband Joshua of Dallas, TX, his sister in law, Cynthia Smith of Pulaski, TN, his father in law, Daniel Smith of Pulaski, TN, Aunts, Patricia Holley of Pulaski, TN and Margaret Harbin of Panama City, FL, and his nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
