He was born in Pulaski, TN, on September 6, 1931, retired from EI DuPont in Columbia, TN, served in the US Air Force, member of Stiversville Church of
Christ, preceded in death by parents, Willie Lott and Ruth A. Barnett Wheeler, brothers, Edward and Barnett Wheeler, sisters, Alma Ruth Cole, Jo Ann Harwell, Marjorie Wheeler.
Visitation will be on Saturday, 10-7-17, from 3PM to 6PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on, Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors are: wife, Patricia McCracken Wheeler, Lynnville, TN, sons, John Wheeler, Jr of Hopkinsville, KY, Jim Wheeler of Dallas, TX, daughter, Janet Wheeler Sullivan, Dickson, TN, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
