He was born in Madison, AL on August 25, 1932, served in the US Air Force, was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Marion and Mattie Mae Tosh McCain. He was an avid Alabama fan who loved to make people laugh.
Private graveside services were held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Giles Memory Gardens.

Survivors are: wife, Bettie Singleton McCain of Pulaski, TN, sons, Michael and Mark McCain both of Huntsville, AL, daughters, Michelle McCain of Nashville, TN, Lori Hensley of Danville, AL, and Lynn Walden of Danville, AL, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
