She was born in Giles County, TN on January 15-1924, retired from Jack’s Cookie-Frito Lay, her parents were the late William and Axie Mae Polan Hendrix,
she was preceded in death by her husband Leon Bowen Jr. and a son Charles Anthony Bowen.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11-28-2012, at 11AM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.
Survivors are: sons, William Louis Bowen and Bobby Ray Bowen both of Pulaski, TN, daughter, Pauline Sturgeon of Decatur, AL brother, Marion Hendrix of Courtland, AL 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
