She was born in Frankewing, TN on April 3, 1923, retired supervisor at Le Mar Shirt Company, member of East Hill Church of Christ, Over 50’s Club, preceded in death by her parents, Joe Tom and Saddie McGee Bragg Chapman, husband, Robert Britton Hughes, son, William Terry Hughes, sisters, Cora Frances Cox and husband Jack Cox, Maybel Owen and Jimmy, brothers, Joe Tom Bragg and Mildred, William Bill Bragg and Marie, Cecil Bragg, nephew, Ronnie Bragg.

Memorials may be made to East Hill Library Fund or Memphis School of Preaching, 509 East Madison Street, Pulaski, TN, 38478.

Visitation will begin on Friday, October 21, 2016, at 11AM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home until funeral service time at 1:30PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Survivors are: son, Bobby W. Hughes and wife Sandra, Pulaski, TN, niece, Bridges Albright, nephews, Cecil Bragg, Jr., Rusty and Jerry Owen, grandchildren, Bob W. Hughes, Karen Hughes Rietkerk and husband Alfred. Great grandchildren, Alfred C. Rietkerk III, Serenie C. Rietkerk.
