Mrs. Simmons was born May 4, 1937 in the Bethel community to Edgar and Ola Crabtree Hughes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronnie Simmons and two brothers Billy and James Hughes.
Visitation will be Tuesday May 27, 2014 from 5 till 8 pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 28, 2014 at Beechwood Cemetery with interment to follow.
Survivors include one sister Evelyn Weatherford of Lewisburg, several nieces and nephews.
