She was born in Pettusville, AL, on May 11, 1915, her husband was the late Robert Lee Griffin, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Alvin and Lily Otto Cantrell Robinson, she was one of the founding members of Bethel Church of Christ.

Visitation will begin at 12:30PM on Sunday, 4-28-2013, until funeral time at 2:30PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Prospect Cemetery.
Survivors are: sons, Hugh Robert Griffin of Prospect, TN, Philip Griffin of Athens, AL, daughters, Barbara Allfrey of Athens, AL, Judy Griffin and Mavis Ann Stonecipher both of Huntsville, AL, brother, James A. Robinson of St. Augustine, FL, sister, Alma Browning of Ashland, AL, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
