She was born February 2, 1935 to the late Charles and Nina Shelton and was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ and loved roses. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Garner, and her sisters, Chris Hooie, Odell Glover, Maybelle Picket, Leona Rutherford, and Lucille Shelton.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Garner, several of her nieces and nephews, and her special sisters, Dean Kincaid and Orlean Smith.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Giles Memory Gardens.
