

He was born on April 15, 1962, to the late G.K. and Mary Ann Cardin Johnson and was the brother of Linda Johnson Lindsey and Kenneth Johnson.Ollie was the proud owner of J&J Air Conditioning, where he dedicated himself and his team to providing exceptional service to the community. His expertise as a skilled electrician was evident in every project he undertook, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and integrity.Outside of work, Ollie was an active member of the Exchange Club, where he generously contributed his time and resources to various charitable causes. He had a passion for giving back to his community and making a positive impact on the lives of others.Ollie and his beloved wife, Darlene Townsend Johnson, shared a love for adventure and exploration. They enjoyed traveling together to different parts of the world, including The Bahamas, Mexico, and Italy, creating memories that will be treasured forever.In addition to his dedication to his work and community, Ollie was a devoted husband, a loving father to his two sons, Tyler Johnson and Wesley Johnson, and a caring grandfather to his five grandchildren. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him.Ollie is survived by his wife Darlene Townsend Johnson; sons Zachery Tyler Johnson and Wesley Thomas Johnson; brother Kenneth Johnson (Sherri); grandchildren Wheeler, Nathan, Delilah, Colton, and Bevin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4th, from 4-8pm at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2pm Tuesday, March 5th, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, where friends and family will gather to celebrate Ollie’s life and legacy.
