

Graveside services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at New Zion Cemetery. Burial had military honors performed by Giles County Honor Guard.

A native of Giles County, born in Trigg City, March 10, 1941, he was the son of Bessie Agness Creecy Alexander and the late William Paul Alexander. He attended Brick Church and Beech Hill Schools and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
After the military, Mr. Alexander worked at Harris Machine Shop for 8 years and then operated his own business, Lynnville Auto Repair, for 20 years. Reavis was well known throughout Lynnville and the surrounding area. He brought smiles and laughter to many who knew him and many who just met him.
Preceded in death by his father, William Paul Alexander and sibling, Clara Mae Chilton.
Survivors include his mother, Bessie Alexander of Pulaski, TN, wife of 45 years, Charlotte Alexander of Lynnville, TN, daughters, Elizabeth Ann Alexander Nely and husband Jeremy of Winterville, NC, Christina Alexander of Pulaski, TN, Erica Alexander of Houston, TX.
Grandchildren: Jay Alexander Pylant and Alexander David Nely.
Brothers: Bobby Cummings of Lewisburg, TN, Kenneth Cummings of Chattanooga, TN.
Sisters: Pat Sullivan, Paula Jean Alexander, Sherry Farley, Terry Minor and Bessie Jo Alexander all of Lewisburg, TN.
