He was born in Lawrence County, TN on January 9, 1936, retired from Pulaski Rubber Company, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Kelton, parents, John Harlan and Mattie Calloway Kelton, brother, Harold Kelton.

Visitation will be on Sunday beginning at 1:30PM until funeral time at 3:00PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors are: son, Robert Kelton and wife Rhonda of Pulaski, TN, brother, John Kelton and wife Carlene of Lawrenceburg, TN, sister, Ann Gordon of Lewisburg, TN, grandchildren, Meredith Howard and husband Doug of Fayetteville, TN, 3 great grandchildren.
