Alan Douglas Marshall, 73, passed away on December 27, 2021 in Punta Gorda Florida with his daughter Jennifer and (son-in-law) Roger Allen at his side. He was born on December 14, 1948 to Joseph and Edith (Clough) Marshall in Newburyport MA. He graduated from Newburyport High in 1966 and was an Army Veteran. Alan spent his time birdwatching, card playing, and wood working. He was the 11th of 12 children; he is predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Lawrence, Wayne, Gaydon, and his sisters Lorraine and Raelene. He is survived by his sisters Gloria Williams, Sandra Gagnon, Andrea (husband Bruce) Eaton, brothers Brian (wife Najla) Marshall, Gordan (wife Judy) Marshall, and (sister-in-law) Pauline and Shirley Marshall. He leaves behind 3 children, Jennifer (and son-in-law Roger Allen), Robert (and daughter-in-law Jane Marshall), and Marianne Perkins; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as multiple nieces and nephews. A private celebration of life will be held for friends and family.
