Aunt Gloria taught me to paint and shared her talent with us. She lives on in her work as well as her many remembered deeds. For example, when I moved away to college, she gave me a basket filled with sewing essentials - needles, 100's of threads, buttons and pin cushion. It was the kind of thoughtful gift that matched the person and their needs; and, for which I always remembered her. Prepared and capable, she wished that for me as well. Over the years I have returned to that basket many times for a button or thread often without thought, just knowing it was there when I needed it. She will be much missed and was much loved.
