James Lane Shipman

He was born July 20th, 2006 in Charlotte County, Florida. He was known for his kindness, humor, adventurous nature, and mischievous spirit. He will be remembered for his true love of hunting and fishing. Lane joined 4H at the youngest club of Cloverbud and remained an active participant through his Senior year. He was so proud of his birds and Koi fish and amazed everyone when he walked his Turkey into the show ring with only a show stick.

Lane is preceded in death by Great Great Grandma Ida Branch, Great Grandma "Cougar" JoAnn Griswold, Great Grandparents Jack and Sue Drake, Jerry Andrews, Great Uncle Ricky Abbott, and Great Uncle Tim Bartholomew. Lane is survived by his parents, James and Dawn Shipman; beloved little sister, Emmilyn; Grandparents, Brian George, Tom and Jackie Andrews, Doug and Kim Hawn; Great Grandmother Colleen Andrews; Uncles, Rob Waldie, Jace (Cameren) Andrews, and Wyatt Andrews (Kaitlyn); Aunts, Jenna Andrews (Kory), Julia Andrews (Clayton), and Haven Hawn; and a large extended family, along with best friend, Myles Cope. Though his time with us was much too short, Lane’s impact will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
