Lynn was born in Sunbury, Pennsylvania and passed away peacefully at her home in Punta Gorda, Florida with her husband and daughter by her side.
During her life, Lynn’s objective was to make those around her feel loved and special. Whether it was stopping a veteran to thank them for their service, or handing a downtrodden stranger a marble to remind them they will be okay, she had a unique way of connecting with others. Her infectious smile has touched more people than she ever realized.
Lynn is survived by the love of her life, Paul Montalbano, her husband of 44 years. She also is survived by her son, Daniel (Nichole) Montalbano and daughter Melanie (David) Rosenfelder. She was the treasured Oma to her 5 grandchildren whom she adored beyond words: Sullivan, Hazel, Daphne, Nicholas, and Lilah. Surviving are also her sisters Christine Kotch and Bobbie Ackerman, her sweet dog Chloe, several nieces and nephews, and a world of people who loved her. Lynn was loved by many and will be missed greatly.
Lynn’s celebration of life will be held Thursday, September 9 at 11:00am at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 635 E. Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks any memorial contributions to be made in Lynn’s name to:
