Mark Dixon DeHaven, age 61 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on November 3, 2021. He was born on August 23, 1960 in Fresno, CA to Haywood DeHaven and Donna Liles (nee Lumpkin). Mark proudly served his country in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne from Nov. 1977 to Feb. 1989. He was a member of the NRA and loved fishing, camping and hunting. Mark never knew a stranger and was truly loved by his family and friends. Mark adored his grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Micky Liles. Mark is survived by his parents, Haywood DeHaven, and Donna and Larry Liles; his wife of 41 years, Robin Lynn DeHaven (nee Bolyard); children, Travis (Jamie) DeHaven; Jared DeHaven, James Beasly; Levi DeHaven, and Madison DeHaven; grandchildren, Kelsea, Skyla, JoJo, Shelby, Alayna, Morgan, Lynzee, Brock, and Madison; his brothers and sister, Shane DeHaven, Paul DeHaven, and Wade DeHaven; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 11-12 pm with a service to begin at 12 pm at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 635 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Interment with Military Honors will take place following the service at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL.
