Alice M. Gardner

Alice M. Gardner Passed away early on February 26, 2011, at the age of 93. Alice grew up on a farm in North Dakota, worked at Yellowstone Park in her youth, and finally settled down in the Tacoma and Puyallup areas. Alice loved to travel, and spent considerable amounts of time in Puerto Rico and California to be near some of her children and grandchildren who lived there. Alice worked for Pederson's Fryer Farms for many years, and was a founding member of Lutheran Church of Christ the King in Tacoma. She loved to run and to dance, and spent much of her life taking care of others. She is preceded in death by her husband Oliver and daughter Connie. She is survived by three sons, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Her ashes will be spread on the slopes of Mount Rainier. A memorial service will be held at Lutheran Church of Christ the King in the near future.
