
Arthur Ward DeKoster, 71, of Spanaway, WA, formerly of the Quad-Cities, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA, on Friday March 7, 2014. He was born Sept. 16, 1942 and was a Tool and Die Maker for J.I. Case, Bettendorf, and Boeing in St. Louis and Seattle. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bettendorf, and became Grand Worshipful Master at the Masonic Lodge in Tacoma, WA. Survivors include his wife Edith DeKoster; children Gregory (Jeannine) DeKoster and Ginette (Russell) Caswell; grandchildren Rebecca and Nichole DeKoster, Calvin, Caitlin, and Cayla Caswell; a brother, Daniel DeKoster, and a sister, Linda Stout. He was preceded in death by parents Hallie Six and Arthur DeKoster, and first wife Janet Fuller DeKoster. Visitation will be 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday March 17, at Trimble Funeral and Cremation Center, Moline with burial immediately after the service at Greenview Memorial Gardens, Silvis. Memorials to be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
