

Bill went to a new life March 11th – just days after his 91st birthday. A Puyallup native, he was born there March 6, 1925. Bill was a member of the International Bricklayers and Tile Union. He did tile work all around the state and beyond. You’ve surely seen his work, whether you knew it or not. Bill was a jack-of-all- trades, using his many talents to help so many people.Bill and wife, Bernice enjoyed traveling – going south for many seasons and camping with the Daffodil Ramblers. The Puyallup Eagles was also a part of his life, and he was a charter member of the Tacoma Motorcycle Club.He loved and was loved by so many – wife Bernice, daughters Diana (Joel) Dodd and Sharon Louderback, step-son Patrick (Debbie) Orris, step-daughter Sandy Cunningham. There are wonderful grandchildren, greats, and even great-greats – and nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends. All part of a well lived life.Preceding him in death were his parents Fred & Eunice Whitney, brother Walt, sister Betty and step-daughter Mary Fran Reda. Viewing will be Tue. evening, March 22nd, Puyallup Powers from 4-8 p.m. A celebration of Bill’s life at Powers, 11:00 Wednesday, March 23rd. The family will have a private burial at Woodbine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a charitable donation or surprise someone with an “Act of Kindness” in Bill’s memory.
