Janya Mary Ross, 49, formerly of Sherwood, Hillsboro and most recently of Puyallup passed away on June 15, 2013. A graduate of Sherwood High School she later worked in Tulalitin Oregon, where she worked for the John Harland Co. for 15 years. While working for John Harland Co. she met her companion of over 20 years Doug Peecher. Janya enjoyed hiking, camping, picking wild mushrooms, clam digging, gardening and going on walks with her dog, Mitsu. Janya will be deeply missed by her many friends; partner Doug Peecher; brother Jim Ross and his wife Robyn; mother, Barbara Ross as well as many other cousins. She was preceded in death by her niece, Christi Ross. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 at Power’s Funeral Home in Puyallup.
