

Kenneth Lloyd Robinson was born on May 7, 1949, in Mt. Clemons, Michigan. He passed away peacefully, March 28, 2013, in Puyallup, Washington. His parents were Kenneth and Alice Hall. Mom preceded him in death; however his father is still living and resides in Michigan. Ken was the oldest of five children, his siblings being William, Michael, John and Kathy. Ken’s father worked for Ford Motor Corp. in Detroit, Michigan and the family lived on a farm, while dad built Ford cars. After he graduated from high school, he attended a local community college. At some point during that time he received a call to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Danish Mission. After his mission, he went into the Air Force. While in the Air Force he met and married Connie Smith and to this union was born three children: Scott, Jennifer and Mark. After completing his tour in the Air Force, Ken attended Michigan State University. He graduated in Electrical Engineering, and after graduation he obtained employment with General Dynamics (Lockheed). He later separated from Connie. Ken met and later married Peggy Shafer in Provo, Utah. During the time that Ken worked for General Dynamics the family lived in Taiwan for 23 months. In 1992, Ken went to work for the FAA, first in Fort Worth, Texas and then later to Chicago in 2001. In 2006 he transferred to the Seattle Regional Office located in Renton, WA as a Radar Engineer. The past four years, Ken has battled major health issues. However, even during these times he loved his work and continued working the majority of the time. Ken was with the FAA for 22 years. Services will be held Thursday, 4 April 2013 at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 13420 94th Ave. E., Puyallup, WA 98373.
