Lurena Belle Workman

Lurena was born February 6, 1930 in Seward, Nebraska. She passed away November 9th, 2011. She is survived by her children Donna (Alan) Freund, Dennis Workman and T. Workman, Grandchildren Deanna (Richard) Holcomb, Katie Workman, Jason (Racheal) Workman, Connie (Steven) Jeffries and Jennifer (Randy) Legler, 7 great grandchildren, siblings Theola (Bill) Gilmore, Lonnie (Marian) Eschliman and Larre (Delores) Eschliman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lurena is preceded in death by her daughter Kathie and her husband (and childhood sweetheart) Donald R. Workman. She loved her children and grandchildren and always enjoyed her time with them. She enjoyed walking, visiting friends and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Methodist Church, she worked in the kitchen at Good Samaritan Hospital and worked several years at the Puyallup Fair, as well as volunteering at the senior center. She loved watching the Seahawks, the Mariners and the Cornhuskers of Nebraska.
