Marlowe Roeser

Our beloved father, grandfather, mentor, and friend Marlowe E. Roeser, born June 22, 1940 in Tacoma, Washington, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2015 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Diane in 2006. He is survived by his sister, Letha Ervien; daughter, Judi Moore (Wade); son, Russ (Bonnie) and grandchildren Little Wade, John, Travis, Kelsie, Justin, Jared, and Nicholas Marlowe. He is also survived by his loving companion Judy Moody. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1958, and retired from Gai’s bread company in 1995. He was very involved with the Model T Club, was past president of Tacoma Athletic Commission, also head of the host program for the WIAA High School State Basketball Tournament. Proud owner of Marlowe’s concession stand at the Washington State Fair for the past 38 years. Services will be held on Wednesdays, January 28th, at 1: 00 p.m. at the Washington state fairgrounds in the restaurant building.
