Stevie, when I was pregnant with my Holli, you were my "eating" buddy.  Johnny was working nights, and when I would get a craving for Indian or Thai food you would go with me and eat.  I think you gain 15 pounds during my pregnancy.  you were like my little brother, and I am going to miss you.

I am so sorry for the family's loss. I remember every time I saw Stevie he had this huge smile! I  dreampt of him arriving in Heaven and when he saw Uncle Curtis he just lit up. I'm sure they're up there talking politics and Seahawks.

Your life is forever changed.  Everything will be dimmer and not as bright as it was before Steven left. Stevie you will always be right next to Curtis in my heart and soul. With all your laughter and sense of humor you made my life brighter having you near. I just don't have one of my adopted sons around me anymore in a physical form. From lifting weights, running, and with all the practical jokes we did together it bettered me to be your uncle.

Being the most awesome and most favorite uncle of all my nephews and nieces, I am heart broken by your passing. But we will be together again some day.

I still remember the days we would climb the tree in your front yard, the days our mothers would gather to gossip while the six of us - you, Chris, Angie, Tanya, Sheila and myself would play like crazy outside. I remember the days we would go to Wapato Park and swim. I remember the days we would play indoors at Uncle Skips and Aunt Sandys because the weather was awful. I remember when we would go up the ally to Fern Hill and play... There are so many memories. I only wish we would have stayed in better touch through the years so that I would have even more memories. The world will lacking and will be found to be wanting now that you are gone. Heaven is blessed to have you - you will be sorely missed here.

It is a tragedy to lose a child wether they are young or an adult, but i believe its even harder to lose a sibling. Chris, my heart hurts for you and you will be in my thoughts as you travel the long road ahead. Angie I know that you and Steve shared a special bond, and my heart hurts for you as well. Steve loved his family very much. I am so sorry for this loss.

You will be missed by many. I love you like a brother. There are so many great memories of growing up with you. If Kyler turns out to be half the man you were, he will be a great man. I know you will be with us always and every time the Hawks win I will think you had a little to do with it. 12th Man for life!
