Byron was born in Saint Andrew, Jamaica. He had been a resident of Port t. Lucie for the past fourteen year coming from Rosedale, NY.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Wallace and Linette Jones; one sister, Duklyn Jones-Latin; two brothers, Alkieth Jones and Conrad Jones.
Survivors include his four sisters, Delores B. Russell of Port St. Lucie, FL; Joyce Houslin of Jamaica, NY; Casetha Lawrence of St. Albans, NY; Wauldred Murdock of Long Island, NY; one brother, Melford Jones of St. Albans, NY; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
