Carlo J. Denis

Carlo Denis was born on April 11, 1951. He was the fourth child born to Madame Iremene Lamy and Mr. Saurel Denis. Carlo who had a fun and loving life with his 6 siblings growing in Port au-Prince, Haiti who are Marie Therese Michel, Jules Leonard, and Marie Marcelle, Jean Villefranche, and Marie Guettlyne Malette.

In his mid twenties he came & lived with his father, Saurel Denis in Spring Valley, NY. After years living Upstate and the illness of his father, Carlo moved to Elmont, NY and lived with his sister Marie Michel. He attended day programs 3 times a week and enjoyed his interactions with the other participants. When Marie was unable to take care of Carlo fully at home and after a brief hospitalization, Carlo spent the remainder of his life in Glengariff Rehab & Nursing Home. Staff always referred to him as loving and kind hearted. He will be truly missed & dearly loved by his living siblings Marie Michel & Marie Guettlyne Malette. Carlos also has many nieces and nephews along with their spouses and children who will affectionately remember memorable moments with Uncle Carlo.

Carlo passed away in the Nursing home on Sunday, 9/15/24 at 6:58am. May God’s blessings shine upon him while his spirit lives within all of us.
