Our mom is the eldest in her family born in the Philippines and born to be a teacher. She's been teaching all her life and has inspired countless students. She always had the curiosity and spirit of learning. Our mama is a strong, joyful, and intelligent woman. Continuously working hard with no complaints. She always sees positive in everything and is an inspiration for us all. She is our shining light when everything in the world seems dark. Always smiled and laughed at everything even in her darkest moments. She is everything, a teacher, a friend, a student, a sister, a wife, and the best mother. We wish our mom to live in peace and always be shining down guiding us. We love you!
A visitation for Digna will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 92-96 220th Street, Queens Village, NY 11428.
