Dear Grandma,

Thank you for blessing me with such a loving childhood and for filling my life with memories I will forever hold close to my heart. I will never forget all the trips you made from New York to Canada just to be with us, always arriving with a suitcase full of candy, little surprises, and clothes from your favorite stores, Cookies and Telco. You spent summers caring for me, making sure I was ready for school in September, and never once missed a birthday, holiday, or graduation. No matter what the occasion, you were always there front row, cheering me on.

I cherish every moment we shared: your bedtime stories, our walks to the store for scratch tickets, the way you gently combed through my tangled hair, and how you spoiled me with dolls and toys any child could dream of. I remember you watching me swim every single day, even though I know it made you nervous, because you just wanted to make sure I was safe.

Grandma, I’ll never forget your words: “Kelly, yuh must tek yuh education.” I did just that, Grandma only this time you aren’t here to see it. But I know you are watching over me, proud as ever, just as you always told me you were.

I’ll miss your phone calls and the way you always ended with, “I love you, Bab.” You taught me morals, values, and manners that shaped the person I am today, and I promise to pass them on to my own children so your legacy will live on.

My heart is broken, but my love for you will never fade. Please continue to watch over, guide, and protect me. Heaven has truly gained a sweet, beautiful angel. Fly high, Grandma 🤍🕊️

Dear Grandma,

Thank you for raising me with so much love and care, protecting me, and teaching me the values and strength I carry today. From the very beginning, you nurtured me as your own, guiding me to become a strong, independent woman.

I cherish every moment we shared the times I polished your nails and made you laugh, and those childhood trips into town in Guyana when you always made sure I had the very best. Your love and sacrifices shaped my life in ways words cannot fully express.

My heart is broken, and I wish I had more time to hug you, kiss you, and hold you close once again. Please watch over me and guide me, Grandma. I will carry you in my heart always.
