Esther Husain knew how to get to heaven, and it was not in a ‘limousine’. She lived a life that assured her that path to heaven. She lived as she believed, a good Christian who thinks that one person can make a difference, by emulating the One whose life was all about love and sacrifice for others.
Esther was born in beautiful Skeldon, Guyana on February 17, 1944, the second daughter to Phillip and Eva Khedaroo. She went to Skeldon Scots School and later met and married her love, Adam Husain and together, they had two wonderful daughters, Ramona and Diana.
Esther was a homemaker and a seamstress but most of all she was a humanitarian and a woman for all times. She is remembered by all who know her as one of the most selfless, giving and kind-hearted person who cared deeply for others and who made it her life’s work to take care of her aging parents, her brothers and sisters, her family and anyone else who crossed her path.
At the end of her journey as she goes on to meet her Maker, she will also reunite with her dear husband Adam and beloved mother Eva, father Phillip, brothers Mickey and Jerry and sister Juliet.
She leaves behind sisters Patricia and Gloria, brothers Ralph and Edward, daughters Ramona and Diana, grandsons Irfah and Riyad, sons-in-law Frank and Fezall, many nieces and nephews and loving family and friends.
May God's peace be with you and may your light shine down on us as we pray that you and all our other beloved Angels in heaven intervene for us and guide us on our way.
Until we meet again, good night our beloved Esther. Go with God.
