       (“Fr.”) Jack,  as you know I remembered and 🙏🏼 for you at ICC on Nov 4th.  It feels like you physically left earth much longer than two years ago.
        We are always united around the altar.  Chris & I were blessed to have met you in 1975.  Although 25 years our elder, you were so relatable and young at heart.   Fifty years ago but I remember so well the Engaged encounter meetings at the Morrisons  with the Van Buskirks, Grillos, (Amy & Tony?);  many with you now.   I also remember us driving home on the Belt after Midnight in our little Pinto and the car in front of us flipping over the guard rail and on its roof.  No cell phones and in “stupidity”  we pulled over next to it and got man out through windshield and car we flagged over took him to the hospital - while we waited for police with upside down car.  You dear Padre, helped us get over the PTS from that experience.  
       Thanks for being one of the good guys.  Please pray me Safely Home to the “party”.

        Fond Memories of getting Engaged Encounter off and running in the 70’s when you added supporting us to being Cure of Holy Rosary - Bed Sty.  You were always so approachable.  Chris & I were with you through many chapters, …Vicar,  Incarnation, Our Lady of Lourdes, and Sacred Heart Bayside (💯years in the life), and the Lawler Foundation acknowledgement prior to you being a resident at the Bishop Muguvero Residence at ICC…… Your Funeral was a beautiful send off for a beautiful man.  It was a joy to meet your friends, sister, brother and their spouses Nov 7 ICC Memorial Liturgy.  I can’t believe RJA was in the congregation to bid you an earthly farewell and just five months later you were on his heavenly welcome committee.  Every conversation for over 40 years you asked me how he was - I find some peace that you two “priest’s priest” are together and watching over those still on this long painful earthly journey. Rest in Peace Fr JACK 💜✝️💜  —- sorry family but your brother was never Fr John to us except for his Christmas 2021 Christmas  sheet, so I knew someone helped.😉   Laughing about the year we spoke but I forgot to mention Chris & I had a new addition & your joked each year thereafter.

💜  “Father Jack” had the most kind and compassionate heart💜 Rest in Peace Good and Faithful Servant - almost 70 years in the vineyard.   Chris and I were so blessed to meet him in 1975 at a meeting at Edy & Eddy Morrisons house Howard Beach.  It was then Engaged Encounter weekends were born.  “Fr Jack” was our first team priest and we have many joyful memories…… remember monitoring the hallways 😅  We kept in contact all these years.  my best comment is that Msgr Casey was a priest’s priest.  I am so sorry for your dear brother Donald, sister and all the family but very happy for you.  You fought the good fight and earned your eternal reward.   I thank God for your peaceful transition from earth.  You will be missed but I know you will be closer than ever.  Thanks for being “one of the good guys”!  I’ll be at the Vigil & funeral Mass (Departure committee & Eddy & Chris are part of the Welcoming Committee for sure.  The three of you together again; heaven will never be the same.Enjoy being Home for Christmas with your parents & loved ones again; and of course Jesus, Mary & Saint Patrick ☘️ Ginny Stu.😘

Monsignor Casey was a wonderful pastor at my parish of Sacred Heart in Bayside New York. I still cherish the picture I have of him holding my daughter whom he baptized when she was an infant.  God bless you, rest in peace and I hope to see you again in the future.

Monsignor Casey was a wonderful human being and the epitome of a devoted, caring religious servant, a Priest/Monsignor  indeed, but he was the peoples Priest.
He said my Mom’s Funeral at OLL in Jan 2016, he also visited our family/friends at the NHP funeral home the afternoon before for prayers services and comforting remarks.  I was selected to do the Eulogy and he gave me pointers and even as I spoke his presence/guidance comforted me.  What an inspiration he has been to so many people over the years. May you Rest in Eternal Peace Monsignor. In God’s name we pray.
