Jose Gerardo Remache

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Jose Gerardo “Jerry” Remache, on March 27, 2025, at 63, in his home in Queens, NY. Born December 13, 1961, in Déleg, Ecuador, he joins in eternal rest his father, Luis Benjamin Remache; his brother, Luis Remache; and his wife, Virginia Garcia.

Jerry is survived by his beloved mother, Maria Clotilde Remache, and siblings: Jose, Rosa, Blanca, Manuel, and Olga Remache. He is also mourned by his stepsons, Kevin and Neil Garcia, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jerry will be remembered for his infectious smile, laughter, and love for his garden, animals, and Bar-B-Ques, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A visitation in honor of Jerry will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 4 to 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM.

Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido hermano, Jose Gerardo "Jerry" Remache, el 27 de marzo de 2025, a los 63 años, en su hogar en Queens, Nueva York. Nació el 13 de diciembre de 1961 en Déleg, Ecuador. Jerry fue un querido esposo, hermano y tío. Se une en descanso eterno a su padre, Luis Benjamin Remache; su hermano, Luis Remache; y su esposa, Virginia Garcia. Lo sobreviven su querida mamá, Maria Clotilde Remache, y sus hermanos: Jose, Rosa, Blanca, Manuel y Olga Remache, así como sus hijastros Kevin y Neil Garcia, sobrinos y amigos.

Jerry será recordado por su sonrisa y risa contagiosa, y por su amor por el jardín, los animales y las barbacoas en su patio. Su espíritu vivirá en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron.

El velorio será el miércoles 2 de abril de 2025, de 4 a 8 PM, con un servicio de oración a las 7 PM en la funeraria.
