K. Patricia Morrison

Kathleen Patricia (“Patti”) Morrison passed peacefully to Heaven on July 26, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1959, in New York City, the only daughter of the late Daniel W. Morrison Jr. and Kathleen W. Morrison of Yonkers, New York. She is survived by her son, Matthew J. Morrison of Denver, Colorado, by her brothers, Daniel W. Morrison and his wife Catherine of Westport, Connecticut, Matthew W. Morrison and his wife Nancy of Alexandria, Virginia, and Neil R. Morrison and his wife Loretta of Westfield, New Jersey, and by her seven loving nieces and nephews.

Patti worked in several industries throughout her career, including securities and real estate finance, home health care, and not-for-profits such as the Ford Foundation. She was a loving, caring and generous daughter, sister, mother, and friend. There was no mistaking Patti’s quick wit, curiosity, fun spirit, and love of laughter. Patti also was adventurous, and she cherished her overseas travels with her brothers. Her beautiful smile and warm, engaging personality brightened any room.

A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at the R. Stutzmann & Sons Funeral Home at 224 - 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428, on Friday, July 29th from 5:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, feel free to send donations to Welcome Baby, www.welcomebabyusa.org/store-1, which provides low-income mothers with a package containing everything her and her baby will need in the first four weeks of life.

A committal service will occur Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10595.
