Obituary of Mary Creegan

IN THE CARE OF

R. Stutzmann & Son

On Friday January 13th, Mary Creegan, beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt passed away at age 92. Born to John and Clara Doyle on November 2, 1930. She graduated from Grover Cleavland high school pursuing different career opportunities until she met the love of her life, Edward Creegan. They married in September 1950 and together they had 5 children, Edward Creegan, Mary Canny, Michael Creegan, Eillen Creegan and Patrick Creegan. She worked for many years at Blue Cross Blue shield to help give her family the best opportunities she could. After retirement she became active in her local senior citizens club and would travel as she could. She was a very strong woman who didn’t let obstacles get in her way. Faced with many trials throughout her life she still retained her faith. Her greatest joy in life was her family and religion. She was especially close to her great grandchildren and would often say how her years spent with them were the best of her life. She is survived by her son Patrick Creegan, daughter Mary Canny, her grandchildren Nicholas Scherer, Andrea Hoag, Daniel Creegan and Justin Creegan, multiple great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed by all her knew her. A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at R.
